Emma Jacobs is a multimedia journalist based in Montreal.

 

She reported and produced podcasts full-time for more than a decade, creating work for NPR, The World, The Washington Post, Overheard at National Geographic, and the Smithsonian Museum of American Art, among others. She now writes part-time while working in immigration law.

Previously, Emma worked for NPR member-stations WNYC and WHYY, and was an NPR Above the Fray fellow in 2015. She published The Little(r) Museums of Paris (Running Press) in 2019. Her work has received support from The Investigative Fund, The Fund for Investigative Journalism, and the Institute for Journalism & Natural Resources.
